Metering Units: NG Plus 3

The metering unit is the heart of the NG Plus 3 planters.
Simplicity, sturdiness, stability and high quality planting are their main characteristics.

1• Heavy-duty parallel linkage

The heavy-duty parallel linkage with a large travel is mounted on interchangeable bushings.
The parallel linkage is designed to be equipped with an electrical row cut-off system.

2• Safety clutch



Safety system with audible safety clutch.

3• Planting with double discs

The planting system is made up of two large diameter discs (380 mm) mounted on sealed ball bearings.

Together with the inner shoe, this system ensures a constant depth control and planting quality no matter what the planting conditions.

4• Front disc protection

The front disc protection is easily interchangeable.

5• Independent gauge wheel

Large depth gauge wheels (110 mm) ensure an efficient and uniform depth control. Resting on the ground directly in line with the seed drop ensures the unmatched depth consistency that makes the reputation of the NG Plus.

The independent gauge wheels are mounted on an equalizing rocker bar which ensure uniform depth control even when one wheel encounters an obstacle (eg: stones).

The rear packing unit, even equipped with the PRO wheel remains a very compact unit.

8• Depth adjustment
High precision and easy adjustment of working depth.

7 • Hopper

Heavy-duty standard plastic hopper with a 52 litre capacity.

6• Ringed arms

The arm brackets on gauge wheels are mounted on bushings and are interchangeable.
